There’s a slight chance of afternoon showers in today’s Central Florida forecast. The National Weather Service in Melbourne is calling for mostly sunny skies and a 20 percent chance of storms this afternoon. The high will be near 89 degrees. Tonight, a few clouds will roll into the area as temperatures fall near 71 degrees. Winds could get up to 15 mph, but will slow after midnight.
Wednesday: Cloudy skies and a high near 91 degrees with a 40 percent chance of afternoon storms.
Thursday: Partly sunny and a high near 91 degrees with a 50 percent chance of evening storms.
